2020 has shown us that anything is possible. And clearly, we couldn’t close this year without another quarantine. The first one almost drove us crazy, but how are we going to cope with lockdown number 2.
The guidelines for staying at home has changed in favour of students. Now we are able to attend and use the services of the university, which will definitely make a difference. But apart from going to classes, what can we do?
The first thing I will do and I recommend a lot is to set up all our priorities. I personally had some chores that I had left that I now need to manage. Since I study and work, I will make sure I also catch up on all assignments and just make my schedule clear and easy to follow. Most importantly for this lockdown it’s essential to keep moving on.
Since university started, I think some of us have given up recreational activities, and begun procrastinating a little, which is fine. It is important to give time to everything, so go ahead and enjoy yourself. But remember that everything has a limit so try not to do it to excess.
Let’s not forget that there are other kinds of chores to do also. So it is important to catch up on them. Cleaning our homes, buying groceries, doing the laundry and other things are necessary to keep still doing, so let’s not get blinded by classes and procrastination and work on all the other stuff also.
I hope this time will be like a break for us to catch up on all the things we needed to do. Let’s also take it as a time to reflect on how things are around us and how are we feeling about it.
Don’t forget to wash your hands and stay safe,
